VOIDSTEAD / MISSION REFERENCE
Support
Keep your network running.
Voidstead is coming soon to the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPad. These notes also apply to pre-release builds.
Time and turns
Timed play is the default: one cycle takes 30 seconds at 1× and represents 20 years. Pause, play, and speed controls sit at the bottom of the network screen. Open Protocol settings to switch to turns. Decision panels pause the clock; returning from the background leaves it paused. There is no offline time catch-up.
Scouting and construction
Tap an available blank hex to review its resource cost. Nothing is charged until you confirm Scout zone. The survey returns after one cycle. Construction, upgrades, research, and investigations can require several cycles. Distant zones cost more to scout.
Saves and discoveries
The game saves locally after actions and cycle changes. Resume protocol continues the saved campaign. Starting a new run replaces the campaign but keeps lifetime Datalog discoveries and achievements. There is currently no account or cross-device sync. Deleting the app removes local progress; avoid reinstalling as a first troubleshooting step.
Sound, motion, and reading
Protocol settings includes music, terminal sounds, haptics, ambient motion, CRT texture, typed dialogue, and battery saver. Tap typed dialogue to reveal it immediately. The game respects the device’s Reduce Motion setting. If sound is missing, check the game’s sound switches, device volume, silent mode, and connected audio devices.
Report a problem
Include the app version, device model, iOS or iPadOS version, campaign seed and cycle shown in settings, and the steps that led to the problem. A screenshot can help; remove unrelated personal information first. Do not send passwords or payment details.
Pre-release support
If you received a development build, use the contact channel through which you received it. Public support contact information will be listed here before App Store release.
Privacy and data removal
See the privacy policy for what is stored locally and how to remove it. No player account is needed or created.
